NEWS AND EVENTS Local Fire Department joins the Prairie Highlands neighbors for the "23rd Annual National Night Out" On Tuesday night, August 1, Prairie Highlands neighbors gathered for the "23rd Annual National Night Out" crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the Olathe Police Department in cooperation with the Olathe Fire Department (Fire District #1 Firemen visited Prairie Highlands with their new firetruck). Over 10,000 communities from all 50 states were expected to be participating in this year's "America's Night out against Crime." A Thank You from the prairie Highlands Residents: Thank you for making Tuesday evening in Prairie Highlands a hugh success! As you can see in the attached pictures your firemen made the kids feel right at home in your fire truck. What a BEAUTIFUL FIRE TRUCK! Thanks again,
